" As Margaret Mead famously quoted, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” In the spirit of this quote, I believe that as a Millennium Fellow, I can connect with the global community of change makers and can transform ideas into impact. I believe that as a Millennium Fellow, I can bring meaningful changes with informed actions. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Lifeline: Community Well Being Program

As part of our project, we organised a innovative event on our campus called Secret Box, where the students could put in their mental health related queries into a box anonymously, and later these queries were taken up by our on campus psychologist who engaged the students in a discussion on these queries while also giving her professional opinion, later the students were divided into smaller groups and each group further discuused these queries in their groups, this helped students talk about mental health in safe space without judgement or stigma, the event saw participation from over 70 students. Apart from the on campus event we also collaborated with a local NGO who work with underprivilaged children and conducted a workshop on menstrual health, hygiene and different menstrual products, and also cleared student doubts on on the topic.
