" This has been very exciting for me to become a Millennium Fellow, as it provides very few other opportunities to channel my passion into real impact. At the core of it, the fellowship's purposes are, for participants, to implement and actively engage in hands-on experience with one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals; working alongside other passionate students; developing leadership skills that they will need to bring real change about in their communities and beyond. The fellowship grants me the very power to be truly part of something bigger than myself in building that sustainable and equitable tomorrow. My goal of working for animal rights with all my heart just gets a boost through it "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Lifeline: Community Well Being Program

As part of our project, we organised a innovative event on our campus called Secret Box, where the students could put in their mental health related queries into a box anonymously, and later these queries were taken up by our on campus psychologist who engaged the students in a discussion on these queries while also giving her professional opinion, later the students were divided into smaller groups and each group further discuused these queries in their groups, this helped students talk about mental health in safe space without judgement or stigma, the event saw participation from over 70 students. Apart from the on campus event we also collaborated with a local NGO who work with underprivilaged children and conducted a workshop on menstrual health, hygiene and different menstrual products, and also cleared student doubts on on the topic.

Since she was a kid, she was a ball of energy, confidence, and passion. Never afraid of standing up for the wrongdoing and learning whenever and wherever she could. She believes that even if one living being is being affected and getting a better living just because she raised her voice, then she will also do it.
