" I believe every life - human or animal - deserves safety, dignity, and joy. The Millennium Fellowship gives me the opportunity to transform that belief into action by creating spaces where life is truly celebrated. My work stems from the conviction that compassion is a powerful force for change, capable of bridging gaps between species, generations, and communities. By fostering homes for animals and connecting them with elderly and disabled individuals for companionship and therapy, I strive to build a world where kindness is not an exception, but the norm. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Lifeline: Community Well Being Program

As part of our project, we organised a innovative event on our campus called Secret Box, where the students could put in their mental health related queries into a box anonymously, and later these queries were taken up by our on campus psychologist who engaged the students in a discussion on these queries while also giving her professional opinion, later the students were divided into smaller groups and each group further discuused these queries in their groups, this helped students talk about mental health in safe space without judgement or stigma, the event saw participation from over 70 students. Apart from the on campus event we also collaborated with a local NGO who work with underprivilaged children and conducted a workshop on menstrual health, hygiene and different menstrual products, and also cleared student doubts on on the topic.
