" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a unique platform to collaborate with passionate, like-minded peers from across the globe. This fellowship empowers me to refine my leadership skills, expand my perspective, and amplify the impact of my work. I do what I do because I believe in the power of collective action to address pressing social challenges and create sustainable change. Through the Fellowship, I hope to bridge ideas and action, turning vision into tangible, positive outcomes for my community and beyond. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Lifeline: Community Well Being Program

As part of our project, we organised a innovative event on our campus called Secret Box, where the students could put in their mental health related queries into a box anonymously, and later these queries were taken up by our on campus psychologist who engaged the students in a discussion on these queries while also giving her professional opinion, later the students were divided into smaller groups and each group further discuused these queries in their groups, this helped students talk about mental health in safe space without judgement or stigma, the event saw participation from over 70 students. Apart from the on campus event we also collaborated with a local NGO who work with underprivilaged children and conducted a workshop on menstrual health, hygiene and different menstrual products, and also cleared student doubts on on the topic.
