" "My passion for design and data fuels my drive to create solutions that promote well-being, reduce inequalities, and encourage sustainable living. The Millennium Fellowship excites me because it offers a collaborative space to transform these ideas into action, aligning my work with the UNAI principles and SDGs. I look forward to deepening my impact by innovating responsibly and building inclusive systems that contribute to a healthier planet and more equitable communities." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Improving Dining Experience with SDG 2
The solution centers on an interactive digital menu interface (kiosk/mobile/QR) that lets diners filter dishes by dietary preferences, allergies, calorie range, and sustainability tags while visual labels and micro-learning moments simplify complex nutrition data. On the restaurant side, an admin dashboard and integrated nutrition–sourcing database allow chefs, nutritionists, and managers to update ingredients, track substitutions, and surface ethical sourcing and SDG-related data in real time. The overall aim is to turn restaurant dining from a transactional experience into an informed, engaging, and trust-building journey that promotes healthier, sustainable eating habits.
