" I believe meaningful shift begins with courageous conversations and fostering collaborative efforts. The Millennium Fellowship offers a platform to amplify my impact, connect with like minded global change makers, and work towards building a more just, inclusive, and healthy world. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Saathi
Saathi focuses on building a community of empathy and understanding where conversations around emotional well-being are open, stigma-free, and compassionate.
Through interactive workshops, peer circles, and awareness sessions, Saathi encourages young people to check in with themselves and with those around them. The initiative works closely with counselors and local organizations to make mental health support more approachable and relatable.
In line with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-being, the project strives to nurture resilience, promote mental wellness, and remind everyone that asking for help is a sign of strength because sometimes all we need is a saathi: a companion, to walk beside us.
