Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health Improvement Among Students

My project focuses mostly on mental health since it is a significant concern for students.I chose this topic because when I started my course (B.A.LL.B), I was forced to stay in a hostel with a lot of strangers. It was suffocating to stay away from your home with totally different people . I am an ambivert person, so talking or spending time with other people was not a great concern for me, but some things they said used to trigger me. Apart from that, I had a lot of academic pressure happening on the other side, which again added to my problems. The primary concern was that there were no areas for students to go and cry, which is a lack of safe space. For me, it is very difficult to show my emotions in front of others, so I used to run, get out of my college, and go to the nearby bypass and cry from the nearby lane; a lot of times, people used to see that and give a disgusting look.I feel like colleges or other educational institutions should provide some safe space for students to cry and there should be someone trustworthy to talk about.
