" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a platform to turn ideas into action, connect with like-minded change makers, and create tangible impact in my community. I do this work because I believe that effective governance and public policy can transform lives and pave the way for a more just, inclusive, and
sustainable world. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Environmental Justice and Water Management

My project focuses on promoting awareness and practical solutions for water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) within local communities. The aim is to educate people about the importance of clean drinking water, proper sanitation practices, and hygiene habits that prevent disease and improve overall well-being. Through community engagement sessions, awareness drives, and targeted outreach activities, the project works to highlight everyday challenges related to water management and encourage sustainable, community-led solutions.
From August to November, I contributed to planning, organizing, and implementing the key activities of the project, including research, community discussions, and creating informational materials. The project ultimately aims to support healthier lifestyles and empower communities with knowledge that can create long-term positive impact.
