Millennium Fellowship Project: Educate to Sustain Tomorrow

Educate to Sustain Tomorrow is a student-led initiative focused on building climate literacy in Pakistan, one of the most climate-vulnerable countries in the world. Despite facing severe consequences such as devastating floods, many people continue to interpret these events through myths rather than science. This project seeks to change that narrative by organizing interactive sessions in schools, universities, orphanages, and community spaces, including my own university. Using visuals, open discussions, and engaging activities, the sessions will help participants understand the realities of climate change, its impacts, and the actions they can take to mitigate it. Between August and December 2025, the project aims to reach at least 200 individuals, conduct sessions in 3–5 institutions, launch small-scale tree plantation activities, and build a team of youth volunteers dedicated to carrying this mission forward.
