Millennium Fellowship Project: Nayi Rahain (New Pathways)
Nayi Rahain is a community focused social development initiative designed to empower youth and underserved communities by providing awareness, education, and capacity-building opportunities. The project focuses on helping individuals identify new pathways (“nayi rahain”) toward personal growth, skill enhancement, and improved wellbeing.
Nayi Rahain project successfully created a positive social impact by raising awareness, engaging youth, and guiding participants toward new opportunities for personal growth and future development. Through interactive discussions and community-focused activities, the project helped individuals build confidence, enhance communication and decision-making skills, and develop a more motivated and informed mindset. It also strengthened community connections by providing a supportive space for sharing ideas, expressing concerns, and encouraging collaboration. Overall, the project empowered participants to think forward, explore new pathways, and become more active, confident, and responsible members of society.
About the Millennium Fellow
Abeera Sajjad is a passionate and determined young leader born and raised in Pakistan, currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the National University of Medical Sciences. She is deeply committed to empowering others through education and awareness, actively engaging in academic projects, community initiatives, and leadership programs. Recently, she led a civic society project, showcasing her ability to inspire and mobilize others. With a vision to bridge science, technology, and social impact, Abeera strives to create opportunities that enable individuals to drive meaningful change in the world through education.
