Millennium Fellowship Project: Smart Choices Start With Labels

"Smart Choices Start with Labels" is an awareness initiative aimed at educating people about the importance of reading and understanding food and nutrition labels before making purchases. The project emphasizes how informed label reading empowers individuals to make healthier, safer, and smarter choices in daily life. Through awareness sessions and interactive materials/activities, the project will motivate consumers to recognize ingredients, nutritional values, expiry dates, and misleading claims on labels. This project will contribute to the development of a culture of mindful purchasing, improved health outcomes, and responsible decision-making. The project is specifically designed for young adults, university-going, as their deteriorating health could be seen presently due to the rise in consumption of processed food, energy drinks, and tobacco products.
