Millennium Fellowship Project: Educate, Prevent and Heal Climate
Educate, Prevent, and Heal Climate was a public health initiative that raised awareness about the health impacts of climate change among medical students and hospital patients in Rawalpindi. From August to November 2025, the project conducted awareness sessions in medical colleges, reaching over 150 students, and organized weekly educational talks in hospital waiting areas, engaging hundreds of patients.
The team also designed easy-to-understand posters and brochures explaining how to prevent heat-related illnesses, respiratory issues, and mosquito-borne diseases. By bridging the gap between climate science and healthcare education, the project empowered both future doctors and patients to better understand and respond to climate-related health challenges.
