National University Of Medical Sciences (NUMS) Rawalpindi | Rawalpindi, Pakistan | Advancing SDG 4 & UNAI 3

" Honesty in research is not just an academic value; it’s a responsibility. As a Millennium Fellow, I am excited to challenge the mindset that sees thesis and article writing as a burden, and instead inspire students to embrace it as a path to growth. This directly aligns with SDG 4: Quality Education, as I work to promote ethical, halal research practices, empowering students to create work they can truly own and be proud of." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Research The Right Way
My project “Research the Right Way” is all about creating awareness against ghostwriting and promoting scientific writing. Many students struggle with thesis and article writing due to a lack of proper guidance. As a result, they end up paying others to do their work, which is not only unethical but also Haram. The degree they earn through deception eventually becomes a source of income that is Haram as well. As a Millennium Fellow, I am excited to challenge the mindset that views research as a burden, and instead inspire students to embrace it as a path to growth. This directly aligns with SDG 4: Quality Education, as I work to promote ethical and halal research practices. I plan to achieve this by conducting awareness sessions, collaborating with organizations, and providing free resource material to guide students on the right path of research.
