" I am deeply excited about the Millennium Fellowship as it aligns with my passion for environmental sustainability, pollution awareness, and community empowerment in Koh-e-Suleman. Growing up with limited resources taught me resilience and the value of persistence in overcoming challenges. My goals include promoting reforestation, sustainable water use, and waste reduction, while raising awareness about the health impacts of pollution. Objectives involve engaging local communities in conservation projects, integrating environmental health into public health education, and inspiring youth to become sustainability advocates. The Fellowship’s network will amplify my voice, connect me to global change makers, and help build lasting solutions for my regi "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Kindle- A Hope for Change
Kindle Hope for Change is a support project that connects university students who are willing to volunteer with orphanages and underprivileged schools. The project facilitates transportation and communication between volunteers and different orphanages and schools, making it easier for students to contribute their time and skills. It serves underprivileged children in Pakistan. Through the project, we successfully provided multiple facilities to an orphanage known as “Hope for Children” and conducted awareness and volunteer sessions that included interactive activities and educational seminars.
About the Millennium Fellow
Imran Nazeer a first-year MBBS student at NUST with a passion for medicine, research, and educational innovation. My goals include excelling academically, building an AI-powered Medical Mentor chatbot for MBBS students, and conducting impactful research on rural healthcare challenges. Despite financial constraints, limited resources, and balancing multiple commitments, I am determined to create accessible learning tools, publish research, and develop side income through educational content. I want to promote tree planting, sustainable water use, and waste management through community engagement. In parallel, I will link environmental health with public health, addressing issues like unsafe water and poor sanitation.
