" Im excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it connects me with a community of like minded individuals, who share a passion for creating positive change. Being part of this means that I can learn from others experiences and at the same time gain guidance. This fellowship is giving me a chance to contribute meaningfully and grow. I'm so happy as this fellowship is going to give me the needed stepping stone towards making a greater impact. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Pad a Girl Child Initiative

The Pad A Girl Child Initiative is a project dedicated to promoting menstrual health and hygiene, particularly among young girls experiencing their periods for the first time. The initiative aims to educate them about puberty, proper hygiene practices, and to dispel the stigma and misconceptions surrounding menstruation.
Beyond education, the project also seeks to reach underserved communities by providing menstrual hygiene products to girls who cannot afford them, ensuring that no girl misses school or feels ashamed simply because of her period.
