" My passion for helping others and creating awareness is what drew me to the Millennium Fellowship. I am excited about the chance to learn, grow, and use the guidance and resources it provides to bring my project to life in the best way possible. I believe this journey will not only help me make a lasting difference now but also strengthen my future research and awareness campaigns. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Pad a Girl Child Initiative

The Pad A Girl Child Initiative is a project dedicated to promoting menstrual health and hygiene, particularly among young girls experiencing their periods for the first time. The initiative aims to educate them about puberty, proper hygiene practices, and to dispel the stigma and misconceptions surrounding menstruation.
Beyond education, the project also seeks to reach underserved communities by providing menstrual hygiene products to girls who cannot afford them, ensuring that no girl misses school or feels ashamed simply because of her period.
