" I do this work because I believe justice should not be limited by geography. As a Millennium Fellow, I am eager to expand my impact by developing initiatives that support underprivileged communities both in the MENA region and globally. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: AMPLIFY: Voices of the Displaced

"AMPLIFY: Voices of the Displaced" is a student-led initiative aimed at advancing Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16) and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10) by amplifying the experiences of communities displaced from their indigenous lands. The project seeks to bridge the gap between policy, awareness, and lived reality by producing accessible resources that inform both the public and displaced individuals of their rights under international and domestic law. Through research, writing, and creative outreach, this initiative aspires to empower marginalized voices while fostering dialogue on justice, accountability, and inclusion.
Measurable goals:
1. Volunteer Research & Writing Team – Recruit and coordinate at least 3–5 volunteer writers and editors to produce a short article/report amplifying displaced communities’ experiences and publishing it in the university's newspaper.
2. Rights Awareness Toolkit – Develop and publish a “Know Your Rights” booklet or infographic series, tailored for displaced communities, with distribution to at least 50–100 individuals or via partner NGOs.
3. Awareness & Advocacy Event – Organize at least one panel discussion, workshop, or interactive session with students, faculty, and/or NGO partners, reaching 30+ participants.
4. Collaboration with Organizations – Establish at least one partnership with a local or international NGO/community group working with displaced or marginalized populations to ensure impact and sustainability.
