" Creativity and adaptability guided by a systems thinking approach are at the heart of both my artistic expression and professional work. I believe the Millennium Fellowship presents a unique opportunity to refine these strengths through meaningful collaboration.
By participating in the Fellowship, I aim to deepen the impact of my initiatives within schools and art communities, ensuring they are more measurable, sustainable, and aligned with the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) principles and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
I'm particularly excited about expanding my anticipatory competence, developing the ability to imagine and implement innovative approaches to learning and creativity that respond to emerging global needs. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Student Codex: Banishing Ignorance

During my experience at the Human Rights Clinic, OAU, I observed that many students face dismissal, assault, rights violations, and various forms of manipulation simply because they do not fully understand the contents of the student handbook. This lack of awareness leaves them vulnerable to exploitation and unjust punitive actions. Many of the issues students encounter stem from gaps in knowledge rules, procedures, and rights that should protect them instead of becoming tools used against them when they are uninformed.
Ignorance of university regulations has led to misunderstandings with faculty and administrators, often resulting in avoidable disciplinary measures or even dismissal. Students may unknowingly break rules, only realizing the consequences when they are already too late. Without a clear understanding of their rights and responsibilities, they become easy targets for manipulation and abuse of power. This project seeks to bridge that gap by empowering students with vital information from the handbook, ultimately contributing to a more informed, confident, and self-advocating campus.
