" Passion and a thirst for community work fueled my application to be a Millennium fellow. Joining the Millennium Fellowship, I get to have improved networks with like minded people and even learn from peers and leaders. Being a Millennium Fellow, will open doors to bigger opportunities and that's good. I do the work I do because I want to see a change, I want to see a better world doing better things. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: R-DIET

My project is aimed at enhancing the nutrition of people, secondary students in particular. The issue of emancipation and obesity has to be addressed and it requires changing mindsets and behaviours towards the food they eat. Also, the health of the food they eat will be addressed also and they can be part of the production of their food. It would involve teaching, showing examples and gifting the audience.
