Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health and Wellbeing for Academic Success

Focus Area: Your Mind Matters: Mental Health and Wellbeing for Academic Success
The Mental Health & Wellbeing School Outreach Initiative is a youth-led project designed to educate secondary school students on the importance of mental health, emotional wellbeing, and healthy study habits. The project equips students with practical skills to manage stress, improve resilience, and build supportive peer environments that foster both academic success and personal growth.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ayelagbe Timothy Adejare is an undergraduate of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, specializing in Robotics, Automation, and Microelectronics. He serves as Vice Chair of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, State Coordinator for COPDEM Osun, and Youth Representative to the European Economic and Social Committee. A PTDF scholar and international conference delegate, Timothy’s work spans health-assistive robotics, sustainability advocacy, and youth policy engagement. Recognized globally for his SDG-driven initiatives, he has received multiple recognition for leadership and research. He is committed to leveraging innovation, research, and intergenerational collaboration to drive sustainable development in Africa.
