" Working as a Millennium Fellow seems to me as a golden egg amidst natural ones. It's a great privileged to collaborate with others in the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
It's my delight to take part in the fellowship seeing that it would be a chance for me to build myself. Creation of value is the other of the day, and as such, working as a Millennium Fellow would be a means to add skill to myself. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: YOUR MIND MATTERS
YOUR MIND MATTERS is a mental health awareness and advocacy project led by the Millennium Campus Fellows, Class of 2025, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Sagamu Campus. It was born from a shared passion for creating positive change. This project aims to promote emotional wellbeing, challenge harmful stigmas, and encourage honest, compassionate conversations about mental health. This project provides practical knowledge on self care and resilience while creating safe spaces for expression and support through engaging webinars, school visits, and inclusive outreach programs. Beyond creating awareness, this project represents a movement of empathy and collective responsibility that inspires people to care for themselves and others, seek help when needed, and nurture a community where every mind is valued, supported, and truly understood
