" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it gives me the platform to amplify my commitment to accessible education and sustainability, while learning from a global network of change makers. I do this work because I believe that every step toward equity and empowerment is a step toward a better world. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Empowerher
Project EmpowerHER is a community-driven initiative focused on promoting gender equality and empowering young women through education, legal awareness, and economic independence. The project aims to equip women with the tools and support they need to thrive in a society where gender discrimination still persists.
The primary goal of Project EmpowerHER is to provide practical resources and emotional support for victims of gender-based violence, while advocating for policy reforms that foster gender equality. The project will begin its implementation within universities, the foundation of social and intellectual development, to nurture awareness and leadership among young women.
