" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a unique platform to amplify my advocacy for youth mental health. I do this work because I believe every young person deserves the freedom to speak openly, heal, and grow without stigma. Through this fellowship, I hope to expand my impact and inspire lasting change. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: YOUR MIND MATTERS

YOUR MIND MATTERS is a mental health awareness and advocacy project led by the Millennium Campus Fellows, Class of 2025, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Sagamu Campus. It was born from a shared passion for creating positive change. This project aims to promote emotional wellbeing, challenge harmful stigmas, and encourage honest, compassionate conversations about mental health. This project provides practical knowledge on self care and resilience while creating safe spaces for expression and support through engaging webinars, school visits, and inclusive outreach programs. Beyond creating awareness, this project represents a movement of empathy and collective responsibility that inspires people to care for themselves and others, seek help when needed, and nurture a community where every mind is valued, supported, and truly understood
