" As an advocate for equitable education, I believe that every learner deserves the opportunity and resources to realize their full potential, despite their situation or circumstances. My civic leadership journey has been rooted in a commitment to create space for those in need of support. The Millennium Fellowship offers a global platform of collaboration with like-minded change makers whose vision and mission align with mine. I anticipate being mentored and learning the skills necessary to advance the UN's Sustainable Development Goals efficiently. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: The Solera Project
The Solera Project targets students in the tri-state area affected by the disparities that exist within the US education system and prepares them for higher education and workforce development programs by providing the support needed, which may be lacking within the traditional school system. This support takes various forms and ranges from providing assistance with college and job applications, grants, scholarships, and FAFSA applications to counselling for best professional practices, interview prep, and guidance for those still exploring their options.
