Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Green-Watch

Project GreenWatch is a youth-led climate action initiative designed and executed by the Millennium Fellows of Punjab Engineering College (PEC) under the Millennium Fellowship Class of 2025, aligned with the global theme “The Legacy We Build: Vision, Voice, and Action.”
The project responds to increasing climate vulnerabilities in North India—especially the 2023 Himachal Pradesh floods and recurring floods in Punjab and Chandigarh—by focusing on early climate education, creative awareness, and youth leadership development.
The initiative engages school children, youth, and communities through a combination of scientific learning, art-based expression, plantation drives, and digital outreach. It aims to not only spread knowledge about climate change but also build emotional connection, responsibility, and long-term stewardship among students.
