" I am passionate about making knowledge and resources around health and wellbeing accessible to everyone. Becoming a Millennium Fellow excites me because it offers a platform to collaborate with like-minded peers, grow as a leader, and turn ideas into action. I believe that through this Fellowship, I can amplify my impact, learn from a diverse global community, and contribute to building healthier, more informed communities for the future. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: KnowWell : Informed Wellness and Healthier Choices
In the era of social media, where information is so easily accessible, the true and good often get lost in a sea of misinformation. Even the most amazing discoveries mean little if they don't reach the people that need them the most. The internet is filled with quick fixes, superfoods, and diets that sound very scientific, but aren't. From false marketing by companies that sell products using exaggerated and misleading health claims, to certain influencers that spread baseless diets and workouts.
"KnowWell" aims to bring attention to such practices, while also promoting cleaner, transparent, honest brands and products. Establishing proper science communication, turning credible science into something that everyone can understand trust and apply.
