" I believe communication is a powerful bridge that helps children feel seen, heard and connected. Having experienced its value in my own life, I am committed to creating spaces where every child can share ideas confidently, develop skills and grow. Joining the Millennium Fellowship will allow me to collaborate on inclusive programs that nurture young voices and inspire positive change. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Luces del Presente: Infancias con Voz
“Luces del Presente: Infancias con Voz” is a series of creative workshops that gives children (ages 10-15) a safe space to express their feelings through storytelling, dramatization, and play, responding to the current lack of emotional education and safe spaces for self-expression in schools. Each 45-minute session begins with a short scene acted by volunteers, followed by group reflection and a creative activity that strengthens empathy, communication and emotional awareness, skills often overlooked but essential for children’s well-being and healthy coexistence.
