" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it greatly improves on logistical and organizational skills, along with teaching practical ways to make a change. The fellowship would legitimize my work, give me background knowledge in social impact and allow me to connect with others on a wider level. Experiences like this constantly challenge my thinking process, allowing me to learn more about environment and my passions. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Technical Literacy Movement

This project aims to provide free and accessible technological literacy to the community, focusing on basic understanding of appliances, online safety (e.g., avoiding misinformation and scams), understanding algorithms, and using programs like Gmail and Google Docs. The target audience is anyone eager to learn, with a particular focus on youth and minority groups. By reaching young people early, the project helps them develop safe and informed internet habits, while empowering underprivileged minority groups with knowledge to avoid harmful situations and access better opportunities. The project successfully impacted 20 people, teaching them practical skills, safe internet practices, and useful digital tools.
