Millennium Fellowship Project: Food Connect

Hunger which is the most horrifying issue in lahore With a number of vulnerable communities dying to get their basic right of food. Children dying of hunger and society still playing the blame game but SDG goal 2 focuses on achieving food security .Our initiative targets slum areas in Lahore includes Data Darbaar , Shadmaan area and Ravi riverside communities. Our strategy mainly focuses on collecting food from campus hostels, local restaurants, and events otherwise this food would go to waste . We wanted to distribute this food to needy communities through a volunteer network . We aim of building a team of students including our seniors which are passionate about social upliftment of those in need , helping to participate in food collection , packing and distribution drives. We will aware people about our project through social media and seminars. Our long term goal is to make Lahore hunger free !
