" "Be a part of the solution, not part of problem."
One of my mentor used to say that if you are not the part of solution then you are definitely a problem.
So I am excited, I will make solution through my impact project in this fellowship. I am not just focusing on the problems of my communities. I will create positive impact in my community by the end of this program. And last thing, the connections, mentoring and knowledge, I will gain through this program help me to become a better version of myself. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Food Connect

Our project Food Connect, piloted in Lahore, addresses two interconnected issues i.e.food waste and food insecurity. It aims to link surplus food from restaurants and events with underserved communities, promoting a circular food economy that reduces pollution and fosters dignified food recovery. During implementation, limited participation from food businesses led us to shift toward a donation-based model, where community contributions were used to purchase and distribute fresh meals to those in need. The project’s adaptive, donation-based model stands as an adaptable youth-led solution to address hunger when surplus recovery is not feasible.
