" My work is driven by the belief that "every woman, regardless of her circumstances, deserves safety, dignity and the chance to thrive". The Millennium Fellowship offers a platform to transform this belief into action, enabling me to use my media expertise, public speaking skills and community engagement experience to create sustainable change. By aligning my advocacy for women’s rights with the UN’s SDGs, I aim to amplify the voices of those too often silenced and inspire a future built on equality and justice!! "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Sahaara

Ok so I've seen too many women around me who are suffering silently, sometimes they're survivors of sexual abuse, sometimes it's forced marriages or domestic violence and sometimes emotional trauma. I'm not talking about some statistics, they’re friends, classmates, neighbors. These women's are not willing to stand up because they'i've got nobody who can support them. And that’s exactly how Sahaara was born: a community-led support initiative offering legal aid, psychological counseling, and job placement for women with no safety net. We are forming a reliable support network that includes trusted lawyers, women protection officers, police contacts, and psychologists etc. I just hope one day every woman could look in the mirror and see herself as someone who is enough. As someone who deserves more. As someone who was never meant to be anything less than extraordinary. This is not just a goal but a dream of mine
