" I am deeply excited to become a Millennium Fellow, as it offers a profound platform to amplify my dedication to community empowerment and impactful change. My passion is rooted in the power of collective action: whether by fostering peer-driven research and innovation, uniting diverse cultural communities, or cultivating intellectual curiosity, I strive to create environments where individuals are equipped to lead and thrive. My commitment to social innovation and global impact, driven by community-led projects and ethical leadership, perfectly aligns with the Fellowship's mission to advance the Sustainable Development Goals. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Dark Shark
I founded "Dark Shark" after realizing that my personal struggle to navigate the complex world of undergraduate research and career specialization was not an individual failure, but a symptom of a systemic gap in accessible guidance at our university. To bridge this divide, I developed a structured peer-to-peer network that replaces impersonal advice with a supportive community focused on two critical tracks: mastering research fundamentals and clarifying career paths. What began as informal discussions among pharmacy students has evolved into a multi-disciplinary initiative—spanning Engineering, Medicine, and Islamic Studies—driven by a "train the trainer" model where I empower student leaders to guide their own peers. Ultimately, my goal is to transform this initiative into a self-sustaining ecosystem where every student has the equitable access to knowledge they need to confidently own their academic journey.
