UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT BARRA KAMRAN, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2025.
Quaid-i-Azam University | Islamabad, Pakistan | Advancing SDG 6, SDG 1, SDG 17 & UNAI 9

" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a unique platform to transform my passion for justice and equality into impactful, community-driven initiatives. Growing up witnessing deep-rooted social injustices in Pakistan, I have always been determined to use my legal education to empower marginalized voices, especially women who are often silenced. The Fellowship will not only strengthen my leadership and advocacy skills but also connect me with a global network of change makers, enabling me to create sustainable solutions that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: PUKAAR
Project Pukaar was our collective effort to stand with flood-affected communities in their most difficult days. Through the collaboration of FiSabilillah Foundation and Civil Defence Multan, our team provided clean drinking water to over 1,500 people, distributed ready meals to another 1,500 individuals, and delivered 100 comprehensive grocery packages to families who had lost almost everything. This project was not just relief work—it was a reminder of what unity, compassion, and student-led action can achieve when people come together for a meaningful cause. Project Pukaar has now concluded, but the spirit of service it created will continue to inspire our work ahead.
