" Change demands collaboration, skills, and intention. Millennium Fellowship will provide me with a platform to bring my ideas into action and collaborate with like-minded individuals. This experience will help me create a meaningful impact on my community while aligning with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Pawfect Haven for Strays

The project "Pawfect Haven for Strays" was focused on the welfare of stray animals in the cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad of Pakistan. Pakistan is a country with many myths and misconceptions regarding strays, especially dogs. Dogs are considered "dirty" in our culture which leads to mistreatment. The project was focused on awareness regarding violence against strays, specially among children.
