United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Educate Women, Empower a Nation
“Educate Women, Empower a Nation” is a community-driven initiative focused on increasing awareness about the importance of women’s education and empowerment. The project aims to challenge cultural barriers, promote equal opportunities, and highlight how educated women can transform families, communities, and the nation.
Measurable Goals (August–December 2025):
Conduct at least 5 awareness workshops in local communities on the importance of women’s education.
Reach and engage 200+ women and youth through sessions, discussions, and campaigns.
Develop and distribute informational materials (flyers, posters, or social media content) to spread the message widely.
Build a small network of 20 local volunteers committed to supporting women’s empowerment initiatives.
Document impact stories and feedback to showcase how education can transform lives.
About the Millennium Fellow
Taofeeq Hassan is an emerging voice in the field of International Relations, currently pursuing his degree at the School of Politics and International Relations, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. With a deep passion for domestic and global politics ,particularly Pakistan’s political landscape,he has gained hands-on experience through an internship at the National Assembly of Pakistan. Taofeeq is committed to fostering democratic values, informed policymaking, and constructive civic engagement, drawing inspiration from global best practices while staying rooted in local realities.
