United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Saathi

Project Saathi is an initiative that empowers government school students in underserved communities near Patiala through integrated legal and health education. The project delivers interactive workshops on fundamental legal rights and nutrition awareness while actively monitoring the implementation of the Mid-Day Meal scheme to ensure students receive mandated nutritious food.
Through school collaborations and virtual webinars, Project Saathi simplifies complex legal concepts and promotes health literacy, creating informed young citizens who understand their rights and can make better health choices. By bridging the gap between legal empowerment and nutritional access, the initiative fosters holistic development and sustainable behavioral change, working toward a future where every child is both informed and nourished.
Core Activities Included:
Interactive legal rights workshops and virtual webinars
Assessment of Mid-Day Meal scheme implementation
Nutrition education and health awareness sessions
Community engagement with schools in Patiala's nearby villages

About the Millennium Fellow

Alisha Ahuja is a law student at the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, with a demonstrated focus on international arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution. She brings a strong academic foundation and substantive experience gained through internships with leading law firms, where she honed her skills in legal research, drafting, and strategic case management. A Young SIAC member and accomplished oralist at the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court, Alisha is deeply committed to advancing innovative and effective dispute resolution mechanisms in the global legal arena.
