Millennium Fellowship Project: Law for All

Law for All is a social impact initiative dedicated to making legal education and awareness accessible to students from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. The project recognizes that many aspiring law students in India possess immense potential but are unable to pursue legal education due to high tuition fees, lack of mentorship, and limited exposure to opportunities in the legal field. Through this initiative, I aim to bridge that gap by building an inclusive support network that empowers such students to dream, prepare, and succeed in the legal profession.
The project will focus on three main components: awareness, mentorship, and access. Awareness sessions in schools and community centers will introduce students to law as a career path and the importance of legal literacy. A structured mentorship program, led by volunteer law students and professionals, will provide academic guidance, career advice, and access to resources for entrance exams. Finally, the project will connect students with organizations like IDIA and pro bono coaching initiatives that can help them pursue formal legal education.
Law for All ultimately aims to nurture a generation of socially conscious legal minds who can represent the underserved and uphold justice. By promoting equal access to legal education, the project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4 – Quality Education and SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities), ensuring that the pursuit of justice begins with equal opportunity to learn the law.
