Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Saathi is an initiative that empowers government school students in underserved communities near Patiala through integrated legal and health education. The project delivers interactive workshops on fundamental legal rights and nutrition awareness while actively monitoring the implementation of the Mid-Day Meal scheme to ensure students receive mandated nutritious food.
Through school collaborations and virtual webinars, Project Saathi simplifies complex legal concepts and promotes health literacy, creating informed young citizens who understand their rights and can make better health choices. By bridging the gap between legal empowerment and nutritional access, the initiative fosters holistic development and sustainable behavioral change, working toward a future where every child is both informed and nourished.

About the Millennium Fellow
Haripriya Manjunath is a dual-degree student pursuing a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law and a B.B.A. in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship from IIM Bangalore. Her academic interests centre on human rights, constitutional law, and preventive detention, with a strong focus on the role of law in protecting vulnerable communities.
She has gained exposure to the Indian justice system through work across different levels of the judiciary, engaging closely with senior advocates and judges. With a commitment to legal reform and social justice, she seeks to use law as a tool to promote dignity, equality, and meaningful access to justice. Her long-term aspiration is to contribute to the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through principled and impact-oriented legal work.
