United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Educare for Equal Green Peace

Educare for Equal Green Peace is an independent project led by Millennium Fellow Bodiuj Jaman. The project promotes a holistic green education model for inclusive development, blending quality learning with climate resilience, gender equality, health, peace education, and sustainable livelihoods. By connecting schools, communities, and youth leaders, the initiative empowers marginalized groups to practice sustainability and strengthen resilience in daily life.
During the Millennium Fellowship period (August–December 2025), Educare for Equal Green Peace will:
Host at least 3 training sessions reaching 150+ children and youth on climate change, health, gender equality, and peace.
Organize a debate program, youth leadership workshops, and a community showcase with 200+ participants.
Plant 200+ saplings and introduce eco-school practices such as rainwater harvesting and waste recycling.
Conduct community workshops with 50+ farmers and villagers on climate-smart agriculture, renewable energy, and organic farming.
Launch a digital campaign reaching at least 5,000 people.

About the Millennium Fellow

Bodiuj Jaman is an undergraduate sociology student at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, dedicated to creating positive social and environmental change. He is the founder of “Tree Plantation for Sustainable Future,” a project aimed at reducing extreme heat in northern Bangladesh through community-led afforestation. With expertise in digital marketing, he amplifies social causes and mobilizes youth participation. Driven by a vision of sustainable and inclusive development, Bodiuj plans to pursue advanced studies in sociology in the USA, focusing on research that integrates environmental sustainability with community resilience.
