" I believe that solutions can be solved if collaboration is met with constant upscaling. Millennium Fellowship will help me do exactly that. On one hand It helps me gain important skills and help me upskill myself while also help me do things collaboratively with others. It also makes my efforts more accessible and tangible. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Gram Udaan

This project aims to promote the financial upliftment and long-term sustainability of villages and small towns by providing practical guidance, capacity-building support, and strategic planning assistance. The initiative focuses on empowering local communities with the knowledge, tools, and resources required to build resilient local economies and improve overall quality of life.
Through structured financial advisory services, the project will help communities identify their existing economic strengths, optimize the use of local resources, and develop sustainable income-generating opportunities. Key areas of support include financial literacy, small business development, agricultural and non-agricultural livelihood enhancement, access to government schemes and funding, and the adoption of sustainable practices.
The project emphasizes community participation and collaboration with local stakeholders such as self-help groups, cooperatives, local entrepreneurs, and governing bodies. By fostering informed decision-making and encouraging locally driven solutions, the initiative seeks to reduce economic dependency, increase employment opportunities, and promote inclusive growth.
Ultimately, this project envisions self-reliant villages and towns that are financially stable, environmentally responsible, and capable of sustaining growth for future generations.
