UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT AUDREY LIN, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2025.
Sciences Po | Le Havre, France | Advancing SDG 4 & UNAI 8

" I believe deeply in the power of equitable access to education to bridge long-standing economic divides. Through the Millennium Fellowship, I hope to advance this principle on a global scale. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Bridge the Gap
My project will address education inequality in Le Havre by promoting equal access to learning opportunities for all K–12 students. Great disparities in education exist, largely determined by income, and my project hopes to combat these, focusing on language learning—especially English—as a powerful determinant of future success and opportunities. Strong English skills are increasingly important in higher education and the professional world, though not all students in Le Havre are granted the same opportunities to learn and practice effectively. My project works to bridge this gap, providing support specifically to low-income students through workshops, after-school programs, and community partnerships. I will meet students where they are, ensuring that those who are behind have the resources and materials to catch up, while also enabling those ahead to further excel.
