UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT PAUL AURÈLE ALLEGRINI, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2025.
Sciences Po | Le Havre, France | Advancing SDG 16, SDG 12 & UNAI 3

" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it allows me to connect my work with Act for Asia to the struggles of communities whose voices are too often ignored. I do this work because I believe that building understanding across cultures can empower marginalized groups and create pathways for more just and sustainable societies. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Act for Asia Sciences Po
Our Millennium Fellowship project was carried out under Act for Asia at Sciences Po Paris Campus du Havre and focused on raising awareness of human rights issues affecting Asian communities. The project aimed to create spaces for informed dialogue among students on topics such as women's rights in Afghanistan, Indigenous rights in North and Central Asia, and forced labour in global supply chains.
Throughout the semester, we contributed to and supported several student-led initiatives, including a UN Human Rights Council simulation organised with the campus MUN Society, a guest talk with a human rights activist in exile, and an awareness campaign on ethical consumption and Uyghur forced labour in the fashion industry.
The project also aligned with ongoing activities led by the Amnesty Youth Chapter on campus, through participation in events and the use of publicly available educational materials. Overall, the initiative sought to strengthen student engagement with global justice issues and encourage critical reflection on human rights challenges in Asia.
