" I am driven by the belief that women’s health deserves greater attention and advocacy on the global stage. With a passion for advancing women’s health and making healthcare more equitable for underserved communities, I am excited to learn, collaborate, and put these ideas into practice. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Know Her Health
My project aims to promote women’s health education through numerous events and resources that make this important information accessible and engaging. I plan to partner with local health professionals and our university’s Student Health Center to host events that cover a range of topics. The main focus will be hosting lectures with healthcare professionals (i.e., gynecologists, nutritionists, or hormone specialists) as guest lecturers to dive into the science behind menstrual cycles, hormonal health, and related conditions like PCOS. These sessions will be held either in person or online, and will allow attendees to submit anonymous questions so they can engage freely and comfortably with the content. In addition to these educational lectures, I will organize more relaxed and practical events such as mindfulness workshops and group walks to promote stress relief and movement. These activities will help participants build healthy habits and apply what they’i've learned about supporting their hormonal and physical well-being in their daily lives. At the same time, I will be posting short-form, research-based content on social media platforms, preferably Instagram and TikTok, covering women’s health topics in a friendly and easy-to-understand way to expand the project’s reach and impact a wider audience.
