" “The Millennium Fellowship excites me because it transforms ideas into impact, and passion into purpose. Driving collective action for a fairer, more equitable future.” "

Millennium Fellowship Project: InJustUs

We are planning to start a project called InJustUs, which reflects the belief that no one facing injustice is alone and we, as youth, stand with them. It will be a student-led initiative focused on raising awareness about legal rights like protection against domestic violence, workplace harassment, discrimination, and access to government schemes. As law students, we have seen how so many people, particularly people from marginalised backgrounds or teenagers, lack awareness about their rights and how to seek help. Through awareness sessions on campus and in nearby communities, we aim to simplify legal topics like filing FIRs, dealing with harassment, and knowing one’s rights as a worker or student. We’ll also share social media posts to expand our reach and collaborate with our university’s legal aid society to set up a monthly anonymous “legal help desk” on campus. Our goal is to make the law less intimidating and more empowering.
