Symbiosis International (Deemed University) Noida | Noida, India | Advancing SDG 4, SDG 3 & UNAI 6

" "Justice and sustainability are not abstract ideals—they are lived experiences shaped by the people we serve."
Being a Millennium Fellow will allow me to transform my passion for legal literacy and integration of sustainable practices in rural communities into scalable community impact. Through collaboration with like minded change makers, I aim to design initiatives that empower rural communities, and advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This fellowship is not just an opportunity to learn, but a platform to lead with empathy and purpose. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Chaitanya
Chaitanya, meaning “consciousness,” is an ongoing initiative dedicated to promoting child and women care in Indian society. The project addresses gaps in awareness by conducting workshops in marginalized communities and schools, focusing on critical issues such as child rights, good touch and bad touch, hygiene practices, women’s welfare, and child labour. By fostering awareness, the project aims to empower women and children with knowledge, dignity, and confidence to safeguard their rights.
Measurable Goals (August–December 2025):
Conduct at least 10 workshops across schools and underserved communities in Delhi-NCR.
Reach and engage with 500+ children and women on rights awareness and hygiene practices.
Distribute awareness materials (pamphlets/posters) to reinforce learning in every session.
Build a peer-volunteer network of 20 students to sustain workshops beyond the Fellowship period.
Collect pre- and post-workshop feedback to measure impact and awareness growth by at least 40% improvement in knowledge.
