" "I am deeply passionate about making justice accessible to everyone, especially those from marginalized and underprivileged communities. I have seen firsthand, through my internship at the Telangana High Court, how many people struggle with legal challenges simply because they are unaware of their rights or how to access free legal aid. I believe that with the right awareness, resources, and guidance, we can empower people to stand up for themselves and seek justice. The Millennium Fellowship inspires me because it offers the mentorship and global network I need to amplify my project and ensure that no one is left voiceless in the legal system." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Wonder Women
Wonder Women is an group project led by Millennium Fellows Spriha Bhyri and Banda Sharanya Reddy, addressing the issues of gender inequality and legal awareness for women in India. During the Millennium Fellowship period (August–December 2025), Wonder Women will provide legal awareness to at least 70 women, conduct research to develop actionable plans for improving gender parity, and share findings with NGOs, communities, and individuals interested in bridging the gender gap.
