" “I have always believed that leadership means service. From guiding my school as captain to working with NSS and animal welfare initiatives, my goal has been to use my skills to create real change. The Millennium Fellowship excites me because it’s a chance to expand that impact—turning my passion for finance, sustainability, and community empowerment into projects that help people and the planet thrive.” "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Cash Class

We want to teach schoolchildren between standards 8-11 basic financial literacy concepts like interest, rates, basic economics, etc for free. We have devised a curriculum for the same, and have uploaded it in the form of a blog on our website. We want to teach this particular topic, since its not included in the curriculum of more or less all schools across Maharashtra. It is a vital topic which will be helpful in improving financial inclusion, and will hopefully also contribute in reducing financial disparities. We also want to make this available online, and have started with part 1 of 20. However, we hope that through the program, we will be able to publish more engaging content and collaborate with better videographers for live action videos.
