Millennium Fellowship Project: Shadee Global
Shadee Global is a refugee-led initiative that empowers refugees, especially women and youth, socio- economically by providing access to global markets and digital job opportunities. Many refugees have valuable skills but face barriers to economic inclusion. Through training, mentorship and an ecommerce store, Shadee Global seeks to helps refugees earn a sustainable income. Our goal is to create long-term solutions for refugee self-reliance.
About the Millennium Fellow
Musonera Mugisha Thadee is a curious and adventurous young man, who is fascinated by humanity. Originally from Rwanda but now currently studying in Kenya, Musonera's top drive is leaving the world a place than he found it. This especially through promoting socio-economic inclusion of marginalized communities through innovatively coming up with sustainable models and advocating for change.
