Stanford University | California, United States | Advancing SDG 8, SDG 17 & UNAI 3

" I am thrilled to meet fellow fellows from around the world! Great things happen when we work together. In the age of globalization, it is important to ask important questions together: who belongs where? Who is responsible for protecting whom? The SDG standards are an amazing to organize our work, guided by purpose. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Social Impact Across Borders
Taking inspiration from University of Pennsylvania's student organization titled Penn International Impact Consulting (PIIC), my project partner and I are hoping to address a growing desire from the student body to engage in social impact-focused projects by establishing a student organization with a similar mission. While Stanford undergraduates have the opportunity to participate in consulting projects predominantly geared toward supporting tech companies in Silicon Valley, there is a critical need for a student space that encourages social impact and allows for students to utilize their immense passion and expertise towards supporting businesses in emerging markets and developing countries, places where global support is needed the most.
