United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Voices Unheard

Creating a storytelling platform i.e. through a blog, where people from marginalized communities can share their journeys and struggles and stories, these people can be from different marginalized backgrounds - differently abled, different caste/religion, LGBTQIA+ students, and this will be a platform where their voices can be celebrated and heard.

About the Millennium Fellow

Athiraa Krishnan B is an aspiring economic student with a strong academic foundation and a passion for research, policy analysis, and sustainable development. Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics at Stella Maris College, she has demonstrated academic excellence through high grades, research publications, and active participation in extracurricular activities. Athiraa’s interests span international economics, public policy, and social impact initiatives. She has contributed to various projects, including environmental awareness, and financial literacy programs. With a commitment to continuous learning and meaningful change, she strives to apply her skills forward .
